4.0 out of 5 stars Diamond Multimedia-All In Wonder HD
I have this video card running in XP Pro, and the digital output is fantastic into a Samsung Syncmaster 932bw monitor. The HDMI connector provides high res output to a projector I use for movies. I only gave this card a 4 rating because the infared remote included in the premium package does not yet work with XP, only Vista. Diamond says they are working on XP drivers,...

2.0 out of 5 stars Terrible for Vista
The whole reason I got this card was to get away from the outrageous prices Comcrash was charging for the few HD channels I liked. I found that these channels were OTA ClearQAM or PSIP channels.

Pros: The software scans for PSIP channels, HDMI output.

Cons: The software seems to have a serious memory leak issue with Vista. I can't count how...

4.0 out of 5 stars Diamond Multimedia-All In Wonder HD, February 19, 2009
This review is from: Diamond AIWHD3650PM All-in-Wonder ATI Radeon HD 3650 PCIE 512MB GDDR2 Video Card Premium Edition with Input/Output card and Remote Control (Personal Computers)
Diamond says they are working on XP drivers, and will provide a different remote that works with XP if requested, but there is no documentation in the box or the included E-mannual regarding the remote, you have to call Diamond technical support.
All-In-All this card is very well integrated and provides great output.

Included Hardware and the Video Card were exceptional. The enclosed instructions were very inadequate. I could not get the ATI driver Software to load. There was no mention in the Instructions or the enclosed CD that 64bit Vista was not supported. I did manage to download the 64bit drivers from the ATI/AMD Website but only after repeated attempts to use the enclosed CD. This is totally unlike AMD!

I bought this to build a HD Media Center computer with Blu-Ray for my 57" HDTV. With the supplied HDMI output it works just as expected...fabulous! There was one problem...I tried the RGB output first and I could not adjust the screen resolution. Just use the HDMI output for excelent results!

2.0 out of 5 stars Terrible for Vista, January 20, 2009

This review is from: Diamond AIWHD3650PM All-in-Wonder ATI Radeon HD 3650 PCIE 512MB GDDR2 Video Card Premium Edition with Input/Output card and Remote Control (Personal Computers)

I can't count how many times the Catalyst Media Center completely locked up my system or CMC just crashed for no specific reason. Many times CMC would crash while trying to initialize the TV Tuner. If you run AVG you need to disable it before installing the CMC, otherwise you'll notice the install taking up to 2 hours. A driver update from Diamond provided some relief, but the card is just not performing well. Even regular video playback on an extended screen doesn't seem to hit 30 fps. Performance is disappointing and horrible. This product doesn't seem to ready for production and my wallet won't be opening for another Diamond/ATI product EVER.

Other: Diamond customer support was very responsive to the problem. They provided quick and effortless support.

1.0 out of 5 stars ATI All in Wonder HD - Junk - Not for component video, March 5, 2010
By
This review is from: Diamond AIWHD3650PM All-in-Wonder ATI Radeon HD 3650 PCIE 512MB GDDR2 Video Card Premium Edition with Input/Output card and Remote Control (Personal Computers)
This product is horrible. I bought it because my plasma does not have HDMI, only
component video.

It is impossible to get this to run at anything higher than 756 (some odd value) and 25Hz refresh rate. The support site shows the command center where you can define your video modes, but the actual software does not have this feature.

I've spend hours trying to solve this issue. It cannot boot up in DVI or VGA, only component. Last ATI product I'll ever buy - It's going right back to the store.

This is one great video card. It installed with no hassels and works just as advertised. I love the remote, it lets me pause streaming movies and change the volume.

1.0 out of 5 stars Keep your HDTV wonder, September 12, 2009
This review is from: Diamond AIWHD3650PM All-in-Wonder ATI Radeon HD 3650 PCIE 512MB GDDR2 Video Card Premium Edition with Input/Output card and Remote Control (Personal Computers)
The software on this is horrible. You are much better off keeping your older cards especially something like the HDTV wonder.

1.0 out of 5 stars They Lie, May 22, 2009
This review is from: Diamond AIWHD3650PM All-in-Wonder ATI Radeon HD 3650 PCIE 512MB GDDR2 Video Card Premium Edition with Input/Output card and Remote Control (Personal Computers)
Do not believe the description that says this is Windows XP compatible it's NOT. After 2 weeks of emails with no response I waited on hold for over 2 hours to be told the remote and IR receiver will not work with XP and I have to pay to send them in and then they will send me XP compatible units. But these replacements will NOT work with Vista if I upgrade later. Never, ever will I buy another product made by this company after being treated so poorly. I didn't make the mistake they did (even the package it all comes in says it is XP compatible!) and they should have immediately sent the XP compatible parts I need without me having to wait, for how long, will see.

This device look very good, and description is even better. this is only the nice part.

Performace, not what i was expecting
Start guide: 6 pages that only lead for more confusion.
Support: no response so far for the past 48 hour
DBV-S: Does not support DVB-S
Signal: Very week
Price: Extremely expensive comparing to the competitors

Conclusion: I want my money back!!!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Poor documentation, December 10, 2008

This review is from: Diamond AIWHD3650PM All-in-Wonder ATI Radeon HD 3650 PCIE 512MB GDDR2 Video Card Premium Edition with Input/Output card and Remote Control (Personal Computers)
This video card is easy to install, but a real pain to set up. Documentation is terrible, just a few pages of small print, trouble shooting suggestions are non existant. I spent hours trying to get it to show live TV, I haven't even gotten to trying to record anything. Unless you've done this before, get someone who has to help set it up. So far it has been a nightmare.
