Deplorable Customer Service, and crappy candles!
on November 14, 2014
I just want people here to be aware that if you purchase one of these candles and there are any problems, be prepared for a world for of aggrevation from this company's lack of professionalism and customer service. After purchasing my Watermelon Wedge candle, I was so excited to start burning it to get the ring inside and to enter the reveal code to see if I'd won anything, like I saw all the people in the pictures here on Facebook. I lit the candle and sat down at my computer code in hand. I entered the code only to be met with a blank screen and nothing...for half an hour. I promptly emailed customer service (because there is NO other way to reach them), only to be told I'd now have to wait 24-48 hours for my code to be reset. Fine. All the while, my candle is burning away. After about 9 hours, I'd melted it down enough to where I should have been able to get to the ring....and no ring. Thinking maybe it'd fallen to the bottom, I continued to burn it. 4 days later, the candle now half empty, I finally got an email telling me that my code had been reset. So, anxious to see what I'd finally gotten, I once again entered the code, only to be told the code had already been used. Back to the email, where I told customer service for the 2nd time, that my code was not working. On the 6th day, with my candle now completely burned, I discovered no ring to be found. Another 4 days of waiting and I emailed customer service, where after requesting a refund, I was told that ultimately, all I had purchased was a candle. I was told that I would get my email and that if I didn't believe in diamond candles, I should just look at the happy people with their rings on facebook as proof that the codes do work. This evening, I received a third email with information that my coded had once again been reset....and guess what. I'm still being told that my code has already been used. So here it is, 2 weeks later, I have an empty candle jar, no ring, and no working reveal code, and to be honest, the candle doesn't really smell all that good. I'm posting here in the hopes that someone else doesn't get duped into buying a piece of crap $25 candle, and also so that maybe someone other then the negligent customer service agents might offer me an answer or solution other then to wait and look at pictures on Facebook. In the event this posting is removed, I will continue to report until I get a proper answer! DO NOT BUY THESE CANDLES!
