This is an excellent live recording but is the same recording as the Birthday Concert plus 5 tracks...the title is somewhat misleading.

Shirley comes across as a truly world-class performer with wit, warmth, and an incredibly powerful voice. Her interpretations are amazing, especially Journey's "I Want to Know What Love Is". I can't wait to see her in concert in Miami in March, 2000.

Shirley Bassey is my favorite singer and this CD has more of my favorite Shirley Bassey songs than any other.The fact that it was recorded live at a concert makes it better. Almost all singers are better live than they are recorded in a studio. I have bought 6 copies of this CD in the last 4 years and I play them so much I wear them out and have to buy replacements.

Shirley Bassey is a real show stopper with this live concert recording. Here she proves "Nobody Does It Like Me" just one of her signature songs included on a musical delight which includes many of her hits even two James Bond film themes "Goldfinger" AND "Diamonds Are Forever". Shirley has a giggle or two with her appreciative audience in between performing in her inimitable way her versions of songs like "New York" the original number by Sinatra and a delightful version of Patsy Cline's "Crazy" This live recording clearly illustrating her musical versatility and just why she is a star performer giving in my opinion the performance of her life!
