An amusing and touching story of a quirky single mother and her daughters, told from the point of view of one of the daughters. Things go from bad to worse for the family in a hilarious series of events. Dixie, the main character, is endearing. The book has a good message about family without being at all preachy.

this book was excellent and took me a week to read this... but i normally read only jaqculine wilson books in 1-2 weeks becaus ethey are so good. i love this book you should read it no matter how old you are
