this is a great hard rock album with recordings taken place between 1976 and 1979, i heard about this band through the NWOBHM encyclopedia however that is what is a bit confusing to me as heavy metal does not describe the music on this cd, maybe its becouse on some of these songs the guitar playing has a bit of solos that can fit in with HM but this is more on par with hard rock or pub rock ( think dr feelgood, ducks deluxe and tyla gang) with a bit more guitar soloing then bands that came out of the pub rock scene or the swamp scene, according to high roller records the press release says this outfit recorded about 40 songs in the 3 years they gigged around the uk as a support act most of the time, this outfit had a female singer and everything sounds very good, this really also has a bit of a garage rock feel to it as the production is not the best as these recordings are coming off tapes 35 + years old that have just been in storage and obviously i guess we can call ourselves lucky to eventually get this on cd as no label back in the 70s where interested in putting any of this out after the band shopped the demos around, anyway this is still a great peace of british rock history here, im glad high roller put this out, the remastering is great and the booklet will tell you all you need to know....................
