Diamond Rio are an award-winning country fusion band who add bluegrass and rock ‘n’ roll into the mix. Originally called the Tennessee River Boys, they cut their teeth performing at Nashville’s Opryland, though they took the name Diamond Rio when they decided to take to the road in 1989.

Five of the titles on this CD hit the top 40, including their first release and number one hit, Meet in the middle. This CD also includes a great instrumental written by band member Jimmy Olander. If you have never heard of this band (and I can't imagine that you haven't) this is a good albumn to start with.

For those of us who appreciate old school country music from the likes of the Statlers, Oak Ridge Boys just to name a few, Diamond Rio doesn't disappoint. I have listened to it so many times, I am surprised I haven't worn it out yet. This is a great CD and their (Diamond Rio's) music just keeps getting better and better!

I Like Diamond Rio. I have all of their CDS Execpt For The Latest One. I Like Meet In The Middle The Group's First Number 1 Song. I also Like Mirror,Mirror, Norma Jean Reilly, And Nowhere Bound.
