The Jetfire Bust measures 6" tall, is limited to 1000 pieces, features a hand-numbered base with matching box and a Certificate of Authenticity. This version of Jetfire is based upon his Skyfire incarnation from the original cartoon. Jetfire is mounted atop a mechanized base bearing a center-situated Autobot emblem. Equipped with his characteristic photon missile launcher, Jetfire is identified by a red and white chassis and a pale blue cockpit bubble. Jetfire is capable of flying halfway around the world in 30 minutes, and is furnished with twin scramjet modules and liquid hydrogen fuel tanks that enable him to escape Earthâs gravity. Million of years earlier, prior to the war, Jetfire, a peaceful scientist, shared a friendship with fellow scientist Starscream. During an investigation of the prehistoric Earth, Jetfire was caught by a forceful wind and deposited somewhere on the planet. Starscream searched for Jetfire but failed to recover him. Eventually Jetfire was discovered, sealed within Arctic ice. Starscream anxiously oversaw Jetfireâs resuscitation, and once Megatron had officially christened Jetfire a Decepticon warrior, attempted to recruit Jetfire as a subversive ally. However, when Jetfire realized that the Decepticons were obsessed with conquest, he defected from the faction and was inducted into the ranks of the Autobots.
