What a great scene to turn into a limited edition statue!!! Diamond Select Toys has taken the best scene from the film "Serenity" and turned it into a awesome high end collectible.
This highly detailed statue stands seven inches tall. River looks incredible and the detail of the dead Reavers is unbelievable. When I unboxed it I stared at the Reavers for about 15 minutes, just admiring all the detail that went into it's creation. River can be seperated from the base if you wish to pose her with other Serenity toys. And at seven inches tall she will fit nicely with past Serenity action figures. The only thing that this statue lacks is the presence of blood on River's weapons. She has just wiped out 4 Reavers and her weapons are strangely clean...hhmmmnnn. The most important aspect of this great statue to point out is it's limited availability. Only 1000 of these were made, making it very rare in today's mass market world. Each statue comes in it's own numbered box (mine is #222/1000) and also includes a numbered certificate of authenticity. I payed just over $[...] for mine when it first came out. I see that the price has recently fallen to about $[...] via Amazon. $[...] is a GREAT price for this statue!!!! Grab it while you can!!!! |
