From the umpire: For the price, this is pretty well made and fits adequately. I'm on the short side but have a broad chest. There are always "spots" not covered where a baseball could hit you really hard, but unless you want an armoured suit, this should do the job for umping or catching games for kids under high school age, unless its a high school rec league versus a more competitive/travel league. Then it might be okay, too.
