The product arrived as promised. Getting it together using the instructions is possible but difficult. I am not good reading size 2 font. I used Youtube to find videos to help me get the brakes just right and the gearing just right.

We bought two of these (one for each of our boys) and they look amazing. I put them together one night and it was pretty easy to do so, with the only exception being the sprocket guard because there were no instructions indicating what to do with that little bent metal thing (I had to go online and look at a bunch of pictures before I found one angled correctly for me to figure out that it was a sprocket guard).

As others have stated, the shifter is a bit tight and my sons both have difficulty changing gears at times (usually harder to go up than down and getting to 1st gear usually requires a few twists to get it there).

I have had some challenges keeping air in the tires, but I am not certain if it simply is the weather or if the tubes are poor (I plan on checking them next time I find the need to inflate).

All that aside, by oldest son cannot get enough of this bike. He is able to keep up with me when riding, it coasts nicely, and the tires are perfectly aggressive for roads as well as trails.

My son got it for his 7th birthday (he's fairly tall for 7) and he loves them!
They seem to be sturdy and fairly good quality.
I occasionally take a ride as well (5'10" 170 lbs) with no problem.
Size seems like it should feet a very small 6-7 years old all the way through 10-12.
Fairly light, good brakes and transmission (both Shimano).
Easy to assemble with included tools.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality, finish and packaging of this product. It showed up UPS (free shipping) after 5 business days in perfect condition despite some damage to the box. The Shimano derailers work perfectly & adjustments for the derailers & brakes are also well designed. The derailer guard is a very nice addition for a Jr. bike that I wouldn't have thought of. Front shocks are pretty firm, which is great. Some of the big-box store bikes have suspension, but they bottom out easily. The diamond front suspension is perfect by comparison. It's more expensive for sure than the $100 bikes you see on Amazon, but it is definitely worth it. My son is average height at age 8.5 & he could have been on this bike a year ago. I'm sure he will get a good 3-4 years out of this frame size.

I had bought this for a 2009 Christmas present. My son had taken it out in the snow a couple of times and had fun. We are in our first full week of spring he has been on this every day. It's been great for him to learn hand brakes, and how to shift. He keeps up with us quite well on it even though it's only a six speed. Didn't have any problems putting it together.

This was a great purchase--our 6-yr-old really enjoys it. The bike was easy enough to assemble, even though no instructions in English were included.

We did a lot of research before ordering this bike. It looks good and seems to be of decent quality. Since it's frigid cold and snowy here, my son has not used it yet, so I can't comment on how it performs. However, we bought it as a Christmas present and were very disappointed to find that the front brake was broken. Since we had limited time to get the bike put together so it could be ready for Christmas, my husband had to go to a local bike shop and buy the part for $15. The money we saved by shopping around for the best price was essentially lost due to this circumstance.

I got the shipment with some missing parts. I call the customer service but they told me to buy my own from local shop.
