I first had this extended remix collection on cassette and listening to it now on CD is like going from Whitman's to Godiva without stopping at See's. The best of the remixes is , "Someday we'll be together", and you'll wish it played on for another 5 minutes, it's so perfect. Next is "The Boss" and you realize that where Diana Ross is concerned more is still not enough! I must warn you not to listen to it while flipping through photo's of Diana in "Going Back" unless you are a professional....will make you want to cry! Remember. I warned you.

I know this is an older CD, but it is something you will never tire of hearing. These DJ's take some of Diana's best work, and add their special twist to it!! What actually made me aware of this CD was seeing a female impersonator "do" Diana Ross, and the version of "Upside Down" was incredible. The song is even better (if that's possible) than the original, and that drag queen had her audience believing she WAS Diana Ross. When I found out it was the version from this CD, I literally ran to the store to buy it. A standout on this CD is surely the version of the Supreme's hit "Someday We'll Be Together". These DJ's (among them - the super-talented Frankie Knuckles) take these hits, and turn them into songs that you can't help but want to dance to! You'll get goose-bumps hearing these tracks! Or, maybe, like me, you'll picture that same drag queen in your head performing to all of these songs. (I love you Mahogany!) Of course, I can't end this review without talking about the perfection that is the remix of "I'm Coming Out"! If I could, I would personally thank the DJ's for their tributes, and the incomparable "Miss Ross" for making us want to dance!!

There are no words to describe how bad this cd is. They all sound the same, that awful Morales sound that takes away any melody that was on the original recording, and they are dull dull dull. Do no waste your money or time on this one!!!!!
