What a surprise to see Greg Copeland back in music business, after to ( my opinion ) his debut Lp "Revenge will come " 1982. Never thought to hear from him ever again.But he's back ,a couple of years older, with a cd that for me is one of the best singer songwriter cd's i heared for a long time. Great stuff highly recommended for the true music lover. Hope he will be back soon with more of these songs.

For those who are familiar with Greg Copeland's extraordinary songwriting, this alblum is a wonderful discovery. Don't hesitate to buy this collection. This is a listening pleasure. Welcome back Greg!

I own a 1982 vinyl LP titled Revenge Will Come by a Greg Copeland. I am 99% sure that the Greg Copeland on this CD Diana and James is the same guy. I thought the LP was really good 26 years ago and playing it now it holds up well. The CD Diana and James fits into the best of the singer/songwriter genre of today. The very best. Along with JD Souther's album If The World Was You, Copeland's album is one of my favorites in 2008. Please do not hesitate to make this purchase and then confirm my praise with your own review. I had the "Revenge Will Come" album from 1982 and remembered that Jackson Browne production sound, all dark, warm and sultry. Greg's original songs and fresh viewpoints sparkled with tenacious lyrics. But then nothing for a long while from Mr Copeland. And then purely by chance I stabbed the name into Google and hit pay dirt. A new album and a whole new set of songs and with JB as over producer. I ordered blind and I wasn't disappointed. Another hidden gem this time around and a new set of intriguing songs. I've played this over and over and I wont get tired of it for a long while yet. It's as good as anything else around in the singer/songwriter category and has a laid back country style feel to it with some great interplay between violins and guitars. "Blue Room, Red Suitcase" would have been a perfect track for "No Country for Old Men". Produced by Greg Leisz who also plays lap & pedal steel guitars, mandolin and dobro, it cruises along like a '68 Chevy with new plugs and a fresh oil change. Five stars.

I purchased this based on the reviews and samples. Listed to it after I downloaded it. What a great musical journey. It is good I highly recommend it.
