In all fairness, the book does say "vocal transcriptions/piano" instead of "vocal AND piano transcriptions" so that may be why none of the solos are written out and on some songs the intros are either not there at all or are a bit different. The keys the songs are written in are the same keys that Diana Krall sings them in. I guess I am just used to those other transcription books which are exactly note for note on everything. I was also hoping that the solos were written out as on the records, but they were not.

That is the bad news, but the good news is that it is definately close enough and much better than any books put out so far.

If you are not too picky and if you are not buying this strictly to study the solo parts, I think you will like it very much. Definately very good for singers.

If you know great piano and vocal artists, then you know Diana Krall. Her technique and songstyling can't be beat, and this new book is a prime example of her Artistry. This is something you can have fun with, be a part of, and who better to have fun with! Buy it ... you'll love it!

I've got most of these charts in fakebooks or other collections (except Frim Fram Sauce), but this book does a nice job of showing her arrangements and changes. Well done.
