This is a beautiful & tastefully done videotape.,

This review is from: Diana Princess of Wales [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Diana, Princess of Wales is a beautifully produced videotape from the British ITN network. It covers her whole life and also contains a considerable amount of funeral footage at the end of the tape. However, for longtime Diana fans, there is a lot of videotape that has been seen many times before. Other than that, it's beautifully packaged and presented and very tastefully done. END

A beautiful tribute to The Queen of Hearts. A wonderful tape that doesn't glorify her but shows her in the wonderful light that made her so loved. Highly recommended.

I think this video was very well put together and was inspired by the music during the last part of the video. I would like to be able to purchase the music, but I don't know the title. If anybody could tell me the title of the music I would be pleased to hear from you. If you know can you put the title in a reveiw. Thank You.

One of the best videos, has an important difference,

For your money you get a lot of footage about the Princess, starting with aerial footage of Althorp then progressing onward from her parent's marriage through the funeral.Much of the footage has been seen many times elsewhere, it's still good, and some of the people interviewed are either repeated or at least familiar. I didn't care for Andrew Morton or Lady Colin Campbell, no friends to Diana, but there were a couple of charity people and photographer Arthur Edwards as well as some fashion types that were friendly sorts. The most important difference in this video over ANY other that I can remember is that Diana's friend Rosa Monckton first appears about 29 1/2 minutes into the video, the only interview I've ever seen her give on a video. This is one of the better video memorials out there, well worth owning for Diana fans. |
