5.0 out of 5 stars I closed my eyes and listened and I was there!
Unlike some of Mrs. Ross's other "loyal" fans, I like this CD and its sound quality. I think that she sounds just as fresh and new and beautiful as she did in 1961. Diana, you go girl!

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing
This is a lackluster live performance from the usually dependable Miss Ross. Her voice is thin and tired on this particular performance, and the songs are so rushed, you wonder why she even bothered at all. The album also suffers because many of the tracks were songs she was releasing at the time, such as Workin' Overtime, Dirty Looks and This House. They sound dated...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great!, November 7, 2001
This review is from: Diana Ross: Greatest Hits Live (Audio CD)
This event was recorded at the Wembley Arena, London /England- June 2,3,4 1989.
It was televised across the world. Miss Ross performed some of her Best Songs ranging from "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" to a "Supreme Medley".
The concert kicks off with M. Jackson's "Dirty Diana", then she sings 2 superhits from her CD Diana (1980) "I'm Coming Out" & "Upside Down". During the concert she introduces her 1989 Motown Album "Workin' Overtime". Of course "Endless Love"& "Missing You" are included. The Album's closing song is Diana's personal anthem "Reach Out & Touch".

This CD is a must for collectiors of Diana! The band sounds great, and you feel like your there in concert with her. All of her hits included in this CD. A must for all you die hard fans! And if you've ever seen this Lady in concert, you'll really enjoy it. I will say it's not her very best, but it's nice to have.

Diana Ross, shines in this live CD. All the old standards including Supreame's songs are played. Miss Ross has a way of making you feel like you are actually in the auidence, partcipating in the concert.Playing this CD iver and over again only enhances the concert experince. This CD is Miss Ross at her very best, and it shows. I highly recomend buying it, you will enjoy it for many hours to come.

4.0 out of 5 stars Ross is Tops on Workin' Overtime Tour, July 31, 2008
This review is from: Diana Ross: Greatest Hits Live (Audio CD)
This live album from Ross' 1989 Workin Overtime Tour has gotten a bad reception. I can understand their view points that they wish some of the songs were longer, especially Dirty Looks, I'm Coming Out, What Can One Person Do and Workin Overtime. I don't understand where they say the sound and Ross' voice isn't in good shape. Both the sound and Ross sounds great. People have to understand that during tours, artists usually change up their songs to give it more of a bounce. I like the way she changed up Chain Reaction and Mirror Mirror. I also like how she interacts with the audience especially on Muscles and Reach Out and Touch Somebody's Hand. Paradise actually stands out as one of the best songs and if Workin' Overtime wasn't divided b/t vocals and the band; it probably would've been the standout. This is a great album from start to finish.

5.0 out of 5 stars THIS CD IS THE BEST, November 2, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Diana Ross: Greatest Hits Live (Audio CD)
THIS IS THE BEST DIANA ROSS LIVE ALBUM. IT IS FULL OF ALL HER HITS. THIS IS RECORDED DURING HER WORKIN' OVERTIME TOUR IN ENGLAND. IT HAS AIN'T NO MOUTAIN HIGH ENOUGH, THEME FROM MAHOGANY, MISSING YOU, ENDLESS LOVE AND MANY OTHERS. THIS EVEN HAS A SUPREMES MEDLEY! IT INCLUDES: WHERE DID OUR LOVE GO, BABY LOVE, STOP!IN THE NAME OF LOVE, YOU CAN'T HURRY LOVE, YOU KEEP ME HANGING ON, AND LOVE IS LIKE AN ITCHING. SHE RUSHES THROUGH IT BUT IT IS 6 MINUTES LONG AND IS WORTH LISTENING TO. THE PRICE IS KINDA EXPENSIVE BUT IT IS AN IMPORT AND IS WORTH BUYING!

If you want to hear Diana in a better live setting, pick up 'Live At Caesars Palace' or 'An Evening With...'.

Diana as she usually is, one hit after the other. Ever smiling and happy music. But when does she come with another number 1 ?

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of time and money., December 23, 1998

Even the most ardent of her fans has to agree that this is an unmitigated disaster. Why on earth would she allow this to be released? I have been a fan for a long time, but I found this CD to be embarrassing and a complete disappointment. I find it hard to believe that Ross had three nights' worth of performances to choose from and this was the all she could come up with. Did she know she was being recorded? Perhaps she should have watched her Vegas performance from the late 70s to see just how spectacular she once was. You can't expect her to sound as good as she did twenty years ago, but she should be expected to sound better than on this CD if she wants to be taken at all seriously. It's been years since she has put anything really memorable out, a classic. This is just another in a long line of bad excuses to call yourself a musician. This is harsh, but harsher still is spending $20+ to find out that one listen is more than enough. Give your fans something that shows them you still have talent, not to mention respect for their support.
