A true tale of romance and devotion, makes you laugh and cry, September 17, 1999
This review is from: Diana: The Unjust Skies (Audio Cassette)
This is one of the best books I have ever read. I read it as an impressionable teenager and Amazon managed to source the book (although it is out of print). Having re-read it, 15 years later, I see that it has left a lasting impression on me and that I have lived my life with some of the ideals left to me in Delderfield's magical story.

--Touching ending to the Diana saga--, February 20, 2006
This review is from: Diana: The Unjust Skies (Audio Cassette)
DIANA, THE UNJUST SKIES is the second book in the story of John Lee, and Emerald Diana Gaylord-Sutton. The former lovers meet again, but she`s now married to a Frenchman and World War II is taking place. Diana's husband, Eve is on the side of the Nazis. She hates him for that and she joins the French Resistance. John Lee is also working for the Resistance fighters and the two are surprised to see each other again. John had never stopped loving Diana and he is again amazed at her strength and strong character. The two rekindle their romance that began when they were young.
The story is told by John Lee and this book explains a lot about the background of some of the characters from the first book, DIANA, THERE WAS A FAIR MAID. I found the story to be touching and this book ends the saga of Diana and John Lee.
I've now read and/or listened to 4 stories by R. F. Delderfield and they have made for excellent reading. The only problem is the books are out of print and not easy to find.
