I bought this title at YONGSAN Electronic Store in South Korea... $40...(-_-) but...No regret! Easily worth the price. HAHAHA ! I like a Jazz very much. I'm a fan of Diane Schuur! This DVD is... A must have for fans and non-fans alike! and...This is without a doubt a video any serious jazz enthusiast must have. Diane Schuur& The Count Basie Orchestra gives a great performance! Especially, I like "Until I Met You"..It's very good song ! Video&Sound is normal. but I recommend this title! I'm not ashamed to have this in my collection. Thank you..

Very good perfomance. Quality of sound: great. Quality of image: great. Diane Schuur: great, sure. I like this DVD very much, so I give 4 stars. Not 5 stars because something is missing to be really excellent or special. But I don't know what's it, maybe the absence of Count or maybe the absence of some "young"-spirit/energy, or... However what a big band, really brilliant!!!

One of the best jazz singers. Excellent quality. One of Freddie Green's last performances. The band sounds excellent, but doesn't swing like they used to with the Count.

The recording quality of this DVD is great. Yeah, i know, no 5.1 but the PCM is more than adequate. Now, the performance, just blow my mind. If u like big band jazz, this is the ONE!

Great music. If someone finds the price of this DVD too high, the music is also available as CD at normal CD price.

As always, the rhythm guitarist Freddie Green (with the Basie band since 1937!) is the hidden force who keeps the whole band on the track. Green was perhaps even more important for the identity of the Basie band than Basie himself. Guitar nerds may notice Greens incredibly high string action, which made his instrument impossible to play for other guitarists who dared to give it a try.
