This book is a one stop reference guide on important healing practices including working with crystals and flower essences. It has an extended section on tarot. It introduces to the reader hands-on healing.

Sight unseen "Guide to Goddess Craft" will be straight-forward, informative and full of Goddess-centered first-hand knowledge. I found "The Women's Spirituality Book" in the 1980's when I was searching for a personal "higher power." Not knowing very much about The Goddess or women's spirituality, I read Stein's book and soaked up her information thirstily. I used the bibliography as a "required reading list" and sent Diane Stein a letter begging her to tell me where I could find MORE. At that time there wasn't the enormous popularity and open-ness that is enjoyed today! She suggested several books to read and pointed me toward my first teacher, Shekhinah Mountainwater. My journey has expanded, grown, and become beyond my wildest dreams, thanks to the "basics" explained by Diane Stein in this book. If you are new to women's spirituality, this book is a perfect first step. And, those of you who AREN'T new and have already read the original... Buy a new one! Give it as a gift. It's a book to have on your shelf.

This was one of the first books I read on the Goddess. It explains the Dianic craft real well. If you are looking to learn about this tradition this is a must have book.

Absolutely love this book of gentle, loving Goddess worship. Our New Age group uses many of the suggestions given at our monthly meetings to open and close our meetups. Thank you, Diane!

I am reading this now - it is the exact book I need. It touches on the basics of just about everything. She offers suggestions and rituals that can be used by novices and adepts alike! Very good book!!!!!!!!!!!

This book was my introduction to goddess craft back in the '80s. It literally changed my life. It is thorough, well-written and researched, and easy to understand and follow. It contains a wealth of information and lore, and is an invaluable aid in the goddess journey. Excellent tarot and gemstones sections.

I acquired this years ago and still reference it in my writing. It is very easy to read and introduces the reader to many different ideas, authors, and resources in Women's Spirituality. It may be a bit dated now but I learned that the book may have been updated recently. The original, with the beautiful artwork on the cover, is still my favorite.

This was one of the first goddess books I've read, and my very first Stein. I love it. It offers great info, good exercises, and lets you know where to find more info. Her style is easy, it wasn't like reading a textbook at all.
