discovered this video when it was released a few months ago abroad, and was ABOLSUTLEY BLOWN AWAY. many who love dianne reeves's music agree that her live performances so far exceed her studio recordings, you just don't know what you're missing until you see her perform live.

well, as good as her live CDs "New Morning" and "In the Moment" are, this DVD is the real, real deal.

i ordered it despite already owning the foreign release version, but the money was well spent. the US version corrected what was a truly egregious A/V synch problem in the foreign version, the audio about a half a second off from the video. . .

her best recording ever, including her entire catalog of CDs.

Dianne Reeves is without doubt one of my favorite vocalists of all time. She surrounds herself with outstanding musicians who make it all seem so easy. After listening to all of her CD's many times and seeing Dianne live in an intimate venue in NY city I must say that this DVD does her justice. Great quality video, top camera work and sound is outstanding. My favorite song on this DVD is Joni Mitchell's RIVER - what an excellent interpretaion by Dianne. Listen carefully and you can hear a line of music from "The Benediction (Country Preacher)" artfully slipped in about 2/3 into the song and again at the ending. Well worth the buy. Hope you enjoy it as much as I am.

It's always been my wish to see Dianne Reeves performing live. Well, my wish has come true through this DVD. Dianne, is a real gift to this world. Her grand entrance with "Morning has Broken" welcomes you to this amazing Jazz performance. Her live version of "Afro Blue" just rocks me.

I was lucky enough to be at this show. And I tell you it was just incredible. I absolutely love Dianne Reeves and this show is a great example of her amazing talent. Her performance was like a spiritual event! Dianne at her best.

This dvd rocks in ways I never thought, the performances ooze with such passion, I had to stand while watching in my living room, her version of Afro Blue is so sublime, it takes you to stratospheric heights, what a spiritual journey. This is definitely a must own dvd , not a word anyone has spent writing is a departure from the truth or an embellishment. Dianne is the real deal, and I hope she keeps on keepin on! I am in Beijing so!

This is my first time ever listening to Dianne Reeves. I have enjoy female singers such as Nancy Wilson, Phylis Hyman and Randy Crawford. I am very happy I brought this DVD. WOW!! This woman could SING!! The video and sound is excellent and her band is awesome. This will be one of my best DVD collection.
