Randall has done a remarkable job with his debut novel. Typically, I don’t read Young Adult fiction, but was glad to get a copy of this book. His drive and determination to be better than what we see in the media, to do more than the average youth, and to strive for more than wearing fancy labels and living life in the fast lane, are so apparent. For various reasons, I’d like to see his book in the hands of other young people, if for no other reason than to show that their generation has a voice and they don’t have to get caught up in street life in order to be a ‘boss.’ It is my hope that the passion Randall has for writing and for empowering others continues to grow and that he makes such an impact on his generation that others will want to emulate him and leave behind the negative that’s so often sought out. Great job, young man!
