I need to bring a needed perspective concerning this incredible album. I thought juanita bynum will never be able to exceed her gold-selling album "a piece of my passion", but i was certainly very wrong in that analysis. As powerfully anointed as that album was, this album far exceeds "a piece of my passion" in the anointing, vocals, lyrics, music and GLORY of God. This is without a doubt juanita bynum's best album to date period. The sixth track in the album "in the silence" blows any song in "a piece of my passion" out the water. There's just no words to describe that song but I will try my best to expansiate on the magnitude of that song.

This album is an album where Dr. juanita bynum is completely BROKEN before God more than she has ever been in her ENTIRE life. Such brokenness is really staggering. It starts off from tracks 1-2 with juanita bynum really crying out to God and then goes into unadulterated worship in track three " In Spirit and in Truth". By that time you are already saturated with the presence of God waiting for a greater manifestation of HIS GLORY that will change your life forever, never to change back by the time you finish the album.

The fourth track is "Soul Cry", which everyone might have heard by now because she released it in 2010 I believe. It is a very good song but I love the melody and the instrumentals in the song most, even more than the lyrics. The lyrics are good no doubt but the melody and instrumentals are so catchy. You'll get my drift when you listen to the "Soul cry (recitation)" at the end of the album.

One intriguing thing about this excellent album is that it features the very best vocal performance I have ever heard from Miss Bynum (track 3,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13). Her vocals were not average in these tracks, they were excellent. Beautiful tone, pitch, resonance, vocal control and impressive vocal range. What an excellent voice!

Track 5 is "I can hear your voice", which is both a mixture of prayer and beautiful worship which prepares you for the life changing experience you'll receive in the next track "in the silence". "In the silence" features the purest worship I have ever heard from not just juanita bynum, but from any gospel artist in the UNIVERSE!. I am a big gospel music fan, so I have heard all the gospel music one can think of. There is nothing like coming to God and being absolutely HONEST with God in your worship. The lyrics are incredible, especially the first verse and the bridge. The bridge had me in TEARS literally. The anointing and GLORY of God is so strong on that song that it pierces your whole body, soul, spirit and heart completely and you'll be left on the floor weeping before the Almighty God. This song has officially become my favourite song of all time hands down!! Incredible just incredible.

Tracks 7-9 ("one step away" interlude, intro and the song itself) are some of the other wonderful worship songs in this album. You'll know that God is with you by the time you are listening to these tracks because you'll be saturated with HIS GLORY listening to them. They are such encouraging prayer and worship songs. I also love track 10, wonderful prayer that prepares you for the climax of the album which are the next three tracks (11-13)

"Still" is my second favourite song in this album. A beautiful song that encourages one to be still in the midst of life's challenges and trials and know that He is God. I absolutely love this song, by this time in the album, the Glory of God with you in this worship song is astonishing. Juanita's vocals is surprisingly really impeccable in this song. "Peace" is the next worship song which is just wonderful and will impart the peace that passeth all understanding to you as you are in HIS GLORY.

Still (reprise) is the penultimate track in this album. All I have to say is the revelation that pours out from Dr. bynum in this wonderful prayer and worship song is TOO powerful. If you have ever gone through hell in your life, when you get to this tack you'll get the much NEEDED revelation you need for all your trials and tribulations. I'm telling you it is hard but it is the truth. This is when I understood the purpose of juanita's trials and mine as well. You cannot listen to that track and not cry and the way she ends it singing "I will be.... still" is just perfection right there. Unbelievable. To God be all the glory for what he has done!!!

The last track is "Soul cry" (recitation).The wonderful prophetic revelations pouring out from juanita is great. Like I said initially, the soul cry melody and instrumentals playing as juanita speaks is really wonderful. You will understand the purpose of your cry (tears) in this track. Wonderful. The track brings to an end an excellent, revelatory, GLORY-filled and life changing album.

In closing, my favourite worship tracks are "In the silence" (which alone is worth triple the price of the ENTIRE album), "still", "one step away", "in spirit and in truth", "I can hear your voice" and "soul cry". This album is juanita's best album yet and can change anybody's life (especially those that have gone through severe trials and challenges) forever, that takes time to listen to it and let it minister to them. Simply incredible. Well done Juanita, you have more than outdone yourself this time. To God be all the glory and praise.

I have not listened to the whole CD yet..but I have listened to the first 3 tracks and from what I can tell, this CD is very reminiscent of her Worship/Prayer/Meditational CD 'Peace' from the 90's. I am very impressed actually. I'm listening to it right now in Barnes and Noble and I'm thoroughly enjoying this. Can't wait to blast this at home first thing in the morning..definitely a good listen to me. If you are looking for musicality and for your senses to be thrilled, this probably won't be for you though.
