Editorial Reviews

The Wizard of Lounge has conjured up swinging, toe tapping renditions of Ozzy's greatest hits. Pulled from some of the earliest black Sabbath albums up through the most current of Ozzy's solo releases. Oglio Records. 2002.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Master at Work!!!, March 31, 2003
By
James E. Monack Jr. (Washington, DC United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Diary of a Loungeman (Audio CD)
What can I say? I used to think I had a few tricks up my sleeve when I played on the same bill with Mr. Luv. I've since moved across the country, leaving my music behind, thinking I left a mark on San Francisco when I got this CD in the mail. I literally fell on the floor laughing and was reminded that, while I may have been a Cheeseball, Bud E. Luv will always rule the city by the bay. Diary of a Loungeman is a masterpiece.

I am ever humbled,

(Formerly) The Big Cheese

4.0 out of 5 stars Funny (not ha-ha) until you find yourself singing along, January 12, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Diary of a Loungeman (Audio CD)
I received this album as a joke (I hope) and immediately threw it on the stereo. Although the cover of "Crazy Train" doesn't have the raw energy (and clarinet solo) of Pat Boone's version, I couldn't help find myself singing the Bud E. Luv version to myself as I was shopping at Wal-mart. If you've ever worn a powder blue tux and liked it or ever wondered what Ozzy would sound like all washed up in Vegas, then pour yourself a martini, lock the doors, turn up the volume and enjoy.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Perfect Ozzy album....., February 9, 2006
This review is from: Diary of a Loungeman (Audio CD)
even if he isn't singing the songs! This album sounds exactly like Ozz at his zenith: high, drunk, and wearing the weirdest s@#t on god's green earth.
