5.0 out of 5 stars Lighten-up!
Cynthia Daddona's funny, enlightening and charming look at the world let's us in on a side of life that is both educational and uplifting. She is the kind of person who takes life's lemons and turns them into face masks and chiffon pies! This book makes you smile and feel a whole lot less intimidated about aromatherapy, fung-sui and scented candles. Read it before you go...

1.0 out of 5 stars New Age Idiocy
Shallow, mildly amusing nonsense. I'm not about to take the advice of a person who has never held down a regular job, never been married, never had kids, pays a feng shui advisor $125 an hour to tell her to put "power rocks" in the north corner of her house, and has life advisors with names like "Sky" "SunRay" and "Moonbeam." This book was OK to read while recovering...

5.0 out of 5 stars PRAISE FROM MERE MORTAL MALE!, December 4, 2005
This review is from: Diary of a Modern Day Goddess (Paperback)
As a producer of a international documentary on Ancient Greece, I've spent a lot of time researching ancient goddesses. If I had known before that Modern Day Goddesses had websites ([...]), emails, and authored books, it would have saved me a lot of time!

Cynthia Daddona is the host of our documentary Greece: Spirits of the Ancients® ([...]). The same sparkling radiance you get from Cynthia when you see her on-screen, or in person, also comes through in her book.  Diary of A Modern Day Goddess can help women become more comfortable with their softer feminine side which is a true gift to us mere mortal gods! It also helps a man understand what a woman needs to feel like a goddess in everyday life.  This book is a great uplifting, insightful and funny read. Buy it for yourself or as the perfect gift for any goddesses in your life.

This book was OK to read while recovering from major surgery and bored out of my mind, but I wish I hadn't paid money for it. This garbage was stupid in the 60's and some things never change.
