From Library Journal
The well-known Colombian author has written a monolog in one act about marriage. The drama is set somewhere in a Caribbean city on August 3, 1978, as a couple celebrate their 25th anniversary. As a man sits passively reading the newspaper, his wife, Graciela, bitterly remembers 25 years of marriage, blaming him for all the miseries in their lives. Ironically, Graciela says that "nothing is closer to hell than a happy marriage." The play debuted in Bogota on March 24, 1994. Because of the writer's popularity, this book is recommended for all public and academic libraries.
