Got mine and guess the reason they are so cheap right now is because they are filthy - the leather is dried out and has scratches, stains, lines and dirt all over it like they were thrown around the floor of the warehouse for a couple years.

They are a little difficult to put on - not too bad though.

They make your feet look wide and flat and they are very heavy and bulky - not good for walking at all.

Also, the back 1/2 of your foot slides around and off the sides of the shoe even when buckle is tightly fastened.

The front strap cuts in too far on the sides and cut into the sides of your feet which is very painful even after 30 seconds of wear.

The foot bed is extremely hard too if that matters to you (even on carpeting) - I do not think they are even worth the sale price-I am returning them immediately.

Strongly warned against these very uncomfortable shoes!

I was happily surprised with these but ended up returning them. I always wear an 8 and these fit true to size. I do think they are worth the sale price but probably not the full price just because the leather straps are slightly shabby and I don't think they would last more than one summer unless you only wore them a few times.

However they did look pretty sleek and not too "gladiator" but strappy enough not to look like a flip flop. The base was slightly thick and bulky looking but was flexible, which I liked. I only returned them because I found a Cole Haan sandal for cheap on ebay that was much better quality than these but these were the runner up for my basic black summer sandal.
