4.0 out of 5 stars it's great for the price
This did work very well. Not perfectly, though. It kept everything out while splashing around the beach & snorkeling with our Canon 960 for a while. After snorkeling for an hour though, mind you AN HOUR, and even diving down to a depth of 10-12 ft, we noticed that it had condensation in the bag. When we took our camera out, there was condensation on the lens. No...

3.0 out of 5 stars Waterproof Camera Case
Very generic fit and a little hard to use the camera controls. No problem with water getting in, much cheaper than a hard case and a big step up from the disposible waterproof cameras.

No biggie, though. It all air dried & I cleaned the lens with cleaner. I had the silica gel pack in there as well so maybe it would have been worse without it? I don't know. Either way, I'm happy we got it so we could get fun pictures of fish underwater as well as eachother looking super-awesome in our snorkel masks/tube. I'd post pictures but nobody wants to see that. And as far as the black ring blocking the field of vision...yes, it does. We adjusted the camera, adjusted the camera, adjusted the camera & finally gave up because there was just always an edge of black. But, overall, WE DIDN'T CARE!! It was better than no picture. And while it is hard to maneuver the switches through the plastic bag, it was not impossible. Definitely we couldn't take any impromptu pictures because it took so long to actually press the buttons through the plastic. Overall, though, $30 isn't bad for a product you can use over & over again for about an hour in the water.
