More About the Author

Lucas Nicolato (1983-) is a Brazilian poetry and fiction writer. His works have been published in Brazilian literary publications. In 2011 his first poetry book - "Promessas Provisórias" in Portuguese - came out. The same year he also started publishing his short fiction in English. His prose is influenced by the cosmic speculations of H. P. Lovecraft and Jorge Luis Borges, and have a distinctive atmosphere.

He works as a Software Engineer in Rio de Janeiro, where he lives with his wife, their daughter and their cockatiel. When he is not writing, he's probably studying dead languages and obscure philosophers, programming or editing dictionaries for the Kindle.

LIkw many dictionaries not adequately adapted to mobile use, there is no go to page function on Kindle. But more damningly the common first word I looked up : "spoon" was not listed, nor was spool btw. That is enough to fail.
