This is an exact copy of the Holman Illustrated Bible Dictionary, it is just translated to Spanish. It is very helpful in your study, especially because there are not that many Bible dictionaries in Spanish. In case you also want to know about a Bible in Spanish I recommend these translations: La Biblia de las Americas (New American Standard Version) and Nueva Version Internacional ( New International Version) These translations are easier to understand than the Reina Valera (King James). However, if you want a Reina Valera Bible, La Biblia de Estudio MacArthur
ISBN: 978-0-8254-1538-8, is the way to go, it contains introductions and notes that makes it easier to understand each particular book of the Bible.

Es uno de los mejores diccionarios que hay en Amazon.com en realidad podria haber otro mejor pero este diccionario me agrado porque no solo tiene mas paginas de los que vi tambien tiene fotografias o algunas imagenes de las palabras y significados que buscas que no podria haber en otra clase de diccionario comun y corriente que no sea biblico,solamente el diccionario biblico es para la mayoria de las palabras que estan en la biblia y por supuesto para el estudio biblico.

This has been an excellent addition to my library. I decided that I needed to create my own bible library at home because the public library doesn't really have anything for bible research. What is so great about this dictionary are the pictures and the fact that it's in spanish and I don't have to translate anything; because the meanings are so rich.. sometimes I feel like I loose the richness when I translate. However, a good companion to this book has been "The New Manners and Customs of Bible Times" by Ralph Gower. It really helps to know the meaning and the background of things. I haven't even checked to see if that book is in spanish too. If it is, that one would be even better. The New Manners & Customs of Bible Times

Bought it for my son in-law who was looking for a Bible Dictionary. Not only a great value but an EXCELLENT Bible dictionary! The color pictures are a plus and so is the wealth of information. Would Highly recommend to anyone seeking a Great Bible Dictionary. BRAVO HOLMAN!!!

Este diccionario es el primero que he tenido y estoy muy satisfecha con la conpra. Tiene muchas fotografias y ilustraciones que brindan ayuda.
