Hundreds of ideas covering all aspects of science will make teaching and demonstrating science to children and adults easier. Most experiment are performed with low/no cost materials readily availible to you. This book is not a stuffy textbook, rather loosely written and enjoyable to read.

Dick and Rae Physics Demo Notebook, October 26, 2001
This review is from: Dick and Rae Physics Demo Notebook (Paperback)
This book is one of the best notebooks I have found on physics lecture demonstrations. It is very clear to understand and has a lot of excellent pictures and references. VMI or the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Virginia, is well know for its lecture demonstrations through out the nation. Dick and Rae used this book for over a decade to teach a two week intensive courses on lecture demonstrations. Everyone that I have known who has attended these courses have been truly inspired by Dick and Rae efforts. Unfortunately their course is no longer offered. I believe they have 600 different demonstrations listed in their notebook. I have worked in this field for over 20 years and have two copies of this book. One I use to loan out and the other is near my desk at all times. For the money, this is a great buy and a must for those who love to teach physics!
