5.0 out of 5 stars An Entertaining Read For Fans of Both the Movie & Comic Strip!!, January 2, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Dick Tracy (Mass Market Paperback)
I got this book in the mail two days after Christmas, I began to read it and I've come to realize how much the novelization is a extended cut of the film (sort of, considering it's a book). I've been reading it so far and it's definitely the kind of book you can't put down, a real pageturner. I haven't got close to the end of the book as of the time of this review, but if you love the comic strip and if you loved the movie, you'll definitely enjoy this literary rendition of the "Dick Tracy" movie. I should know because I am enjoying it very much.

3.0 out of 5 stars Super Reader, August 6, 2007
This review is from: Dick Tracy (Mass Market Paperback)
Seeing Max Allan Collins wrote this, it is competently handled, and different to the movie as he saw fit, Tracy expert and writer that he is.

I think he might have even modeled a kid on his son. Anyway, this is not too bad at all, so definitely worth a look.
