Dick Tracy the Series
The 1950 television series pesented the poular comic strip sleuth in his relentless crusade against criminal villains. With tycoon Diet Smith as the inventor of Tracy's gadgets, including his wrist-band two-way radio-TV, the hawk-nosed detective battles evil-doers in the pilot episode of the series and his arch enemy Flattop in another episode.

Dick Tracy Meets Gruesome
This 1947 movie starred Ralph Byrd as the square jawed, steely-eyed crime fighter Dick Tracy. Although he had a large rogues' gallery of adversaries, all with colorful descriptive names, Gruesome (played by Boris Karloff) provided Dick Tracy with his most difficult case in this classic thriller.
