I purchased this jacket with the intent of placing various scooter patches that I have accumulated on it. I was looking for a ladies "mechanics style" of jacket and couldn't find in my searches any color other than gray. After a "Google" search, I found this on Amazon at a decent price. I ordered this jacket in black in a medium and it fits fairly true to size (traditionally I am a size 8). One thing to consider, it is not a fitted jacket, so there is a small amount of "bulk" in the body, but it isn't unsightly. The jacket comes with a heavy duty zipper and the outer shell is a heavy cotton material. It also has a nice lighter quilted insulation that is not removeable, which will take that autumn chill. There are two side hand pockets and a double stacked inside pocket on the left side. None of these pockets have zippers, hence my 4 stars. All in all, this jacket will serve it's purpose well.

This jacket fits true to measurement on the torso, but really short on the arms. I tried a Large (fit perfect in the torso), and a Men's XL and XXL, and ALL the sleeves were really short.

this jacket is great. keeps me warm when im in san francisco, its the perfect basic black jacket.
