to mention that the arms are not lined at all. They are nylon inside and out and can be very uncomfortable in cool weather. The rest of the jacket is fine, but I just don't like descriptions that conveniently leave certain parts out.

I ordered this for my 13 year old who kept borrowing his dad jacket that was similar. It has a nice lining and is compact so its fits nicely all balled up in his locker =) Not necessarily enough for the rough winter weather but will work for a good part of the fall/winter.

Overall a nice jacket for $20. Shell fabric is very thin but it is waterproof. Lining is also pretty thin but this is good for late spring early fall. Length of jacket was slightly too long.

I bought his for my brother for Christmas. He is in school at App State and needed something warm to wear since it has been quite cold up there lately! He only wears sweatshirts for some reason, and I bought him this to keep the wind out & to keep warm. He loves it! It's better than a bigger, heavier winter coat he said!

This is a nice mild weather jacket. Out in the rain yesterday that was not even near heavy and water seeped through in several spots. If you are looking for something for the rain....look on this will not cut it. It does have a generous fit as for-mentioned. I a bit warmer than a wind breaker. Nice looking. I just think "water resistant" should be taken out of the description as it is misleading.

Protects against rain about as well as a wet blanket. On one hand I don't have water beating on me, on the other it soaks through the jacket, the inside pocket, and neatly deposits all of it on on my legs. To be fair the leg part is likely a fault in all jackets but it was just the insult to injury on the already being wet in my allegedly waterproof jacket.

This jacket is a good quality heavy water resistant shell, which I find is better for me when used as a basis for layering than as a stand alone jacket.

I live in the wet Pacific Northwest, and this jacket works great for fall/winter wear if mixed and matched with different weights of additional shirts/sweaters/hoodies etc.

The body of the jacket is lined with fleece, the arms with a lightly padded nylon. I usually pair it with the Dickies Men's Brawny Flannel Overshirt and a sweat shirt, which is a perfect combination for our changeable weather.

The ability to tighten the bottom and hood of the jacket is quite helpful in a driving rain or strong wind. If you spend a lot of time outdoors, like I do, and engage in active sports or chores/work this jacket can be a useful and practical addition to your wardrobe.

I bought this for my husband to wear while working outside, and he was quite pleased to tell me it really does keep him dry in a downpour. We are both quite pleased with the jacket, and would recommend it to anyone planning to be outside in the rain.

the lining tore completely after only two washings. it also has no lining in the sleeves and is very light, definitely not for winter. now i have to sew the lining back myself.

I purchased this jacket for two reasons, to go out the street in rainy days, whatever i'm going to work or somewhere else, and when i go travelling by bus since it's cold because of aircon. I haven't had a chance to test it in the rain, but it works just fine when i'm in the bus, it warms enough (not too hot/light) and the hood is useful to reduce external noise if you want to sleep or listen much better to your music player. It has an inside pocket at the left side, useful to put your music player or anything else, i wish it had a right-side pocket too, it would have been the fifth star.
