Great fit, not so crazy about the color May 21, 2011

I ordered this in khaki, which was the only color I really liked of those offered. I also ordered the Dickies Girls Juniors' Stretch Twill Short- School Uniform in black. The shorts were awesome, although the fabric has the almost supernatural ability to attract lint, cat hair, and dust to it at all times. I assume it would be the same for the black skirt, which is made from the same fabric.

As for the Junior's fit, I wear a women's size 4 at Old Navy, a 6 at most retail stores like Ann Taylor/J Crew, and an 8 for high-end stuff. I purchased the skirt in a 7 and the shorts in a 9, since I wanted a lower rise for the shorts. Both fit great.

However, I'm returning the skirt because of the color. The khaki is a kind of putrid brown, rather than the attractive light beige it appears to be in the picture. I don't know how to describe it properly except that it reminds me of the color of my dog's Milk-Bone Traditional Bone Shaped Biscuits For Dogs treats, and is a rather outdated color of khaki. If only there was an olive green or cool baby blue color available for this skirt, I would be really happy with its fit and shape. As it is, it's not for me.

Skirt fits well just above the knee I got the Navy.The quality of the fabric is really good and it can be dressed up or down would recommend this to anyone.
