Like all scrub pants, the sizing does not correspond to anything else you've ever worn. In regular pants (like Levi's 501's) I can wear a 31x30 or 32x32 if I want them a bit loose. With that in mind, I ordered a medium in the Dickies scrub pants. I was absolutely swimming in them and had to return them. I then ordered a size small and they are just about right - they fit like a 32x32. I think it's strange that at 6' tall I am wearing a small but so it goes.

These do have a drawstring and a half elastic band in the back only. The elastic has the effect of not showing your underwear when you bend over or crouch (which most other non-elastic scrub pants seem to fail miserably at). They have a single butt pocket and a single cargo pocket that does not close.

In summary, these are a good fitting, slim pair of scrub pants that are a great deal for the money.

These pants are actually long enough if you are over 6' tall. Side pocket is much flatter than cargo style and looks professional enough to pass for student nurse guidelines.

These pants fit great and the elastic backing helps keep them up better the the regular drawstring type. I will have to pick up a few more pairs in the future.

This fits well and has held up to several washings. Not to mention it looks manly enough for a male nurse.

THE DRAWSTRING BROKE the 2nd day I wore them.. It broke 16" in from the end and well back into the waistband... The drawstring is sewn into the back of the waistband, making it impossible to fish out the end and pull another drawstring through.. I have replaced broken drawstrings on other garments using 550 paracord, which never breaks... That is not an option with these scrubs.. Perhaps I should have paid more attention to the reviews for this item.. Quite a few folks have also mentioned that the drawstrings broke quite easily..

Also, I wasn't very happy with these scrubs from Dickie from the start.. There are no side pant pockets up where you'd expect to find them on jeans or as found on the Carhartt scrubs, which I do like quite well, although these Dickie scrubs were cut much fuller than the Carhartt scrubs.. Almost too full, in fact. In that regard, these Dickie scrubs were more comfortable for me. These Dickie scrubs do have a cargo pocket on the outside of the thigh but only on the right leg, not on the left. There are also two decent size pockets on the buttocks but putting anything in them makes sitting uncomfortable.. These Dickie scrubs are also cut awfully long in the leg. I had planned to hem them to a better length but the broken drawstring has saved me from that task.. I suppose I could wear suspenders to hold them up..

While the price on these scrubs was quite attractive, I will not be buying any other Dickie scrubs to replace them.. The overall design and material made them borderline for my use in the first place.. The broken drawstring was the icing on the cake.. Maybe I can cut a head hole in the crotch area and wear them upside down as an open midriff long-sleeve shirt.. The world needs another fashion statement like that from an old fart...

The pants are wonderful and comfy but because the order page didn't allow for accurate descriptions towards size, but other than that the product was great!!

It feels like you are wearing canvas. I was used to very soft, comfortable fabric in my other scrubs, so I really disliked these.

When you buy the larger sized pants, you can expect the legs to be as wide as the thighs. My legs are much thinner than my thighs, and it makes the legs look very baggy. Doesn't matter though, a needle and thread can fix that.

These pants are so comfortable. I wear them a lot to work and a lot of people ask if I'm wearing comfy pants because they dont really look like scrubs.
