5.0 out of 5 stars Decent mild weather work coveralls
These were bought to replace another Dickies coveralls that were in intermittent garage use for over 7 years. The overall quality is still good, the fabric is decent, the garment fit is good (unless you have a huge beer gut), the zippers are sturdy and the back has pleats if your shoulders were wide like mine. The front zipper has top and bottom fly pulls, but it does...

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok but not the best
These are decent coveralls, but the first thing I did after trying them on was tear off one of the back pockets taking them off. Also, I am 5'11" and 210+ pounds with wide shoulders and the Tall-XL just fit. If you are taller or fatter, er more muscular ;-) then you may find these to be tight.

The front zipper has top and bottom fly pulls, but it does not have zippers at the bottoms of the legs for boots. Sneakers fit thru the pants fine. There's also pockets within the side hand-warmer pockets that are open to the inside of the garment. This allows you to fish out keys or whatever from your regular pants without having to unzip or doff the coveralls.

The garment isn't insulated, and is intended to keep your regular street clothes from getting dirty. I use these when I work on my vehicles.

The only issue is there is a small flap of fabric about midway down the front zipper that hangs up in the zipper once in a while. That will likely go away as the garment is broken in. This item was assembled in Belize. Would rather have had it made in the USA.

4.0 out of 5 stars Dickies' Coveralls, April 26, 2008

We bought the coveralls for working in the crawl space under our new house -- which was BADLY in need of cleaning out. The coveralls worked great in protecting us from the nasty conditions underneath. They held up great while we were crawling and sliding in and out along the dirt base. Our only regret was in not ordering the TALL size -- the legs and arms were just a little short, which we fixed by using duct tape to narrow the openings to fit snugly around our wrists and ankles.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well made, October 3, 2009

The material and suit in general seem to be well made. You might want to order one size larger however just to be sure it isn't too tight.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good looking coverall, October 6, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The Dickies twill coverall looks good and seems tough enough although I've only had it for a few weeks and haven't put it to anything that could rip the fabric yet. I bought a size S, which fits fine although it's a little hard to raise my hands over my head (I'm 5' 8"). If I bought again I might try a M for my size but I wanted a sleeker fit rather than something baggy.

The build quality seems good. The main zipper feels kind of cheap so it may be the first thing to go but everything else is up to snuff. I'm happy with my purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dickies Coveralls, December 21, 2006

We received the coveralls ordered through the Andrew Christian company. The coveralls were even better than we expected. Great quality and sizing was perfect. Only one small complaint -- no shipping details were on the Amazon page and it took longer for the company to ship than other companies to ship items we purchased on the same day. The package did arrive in the timeframe sent to us by Amazon in a confirmatory email.

I would highly recommend purchase from this company again.

I purchased these coveralls for my son to use while exploring caves. The coveralls got extremely dirty and wet. Many times my son had to traverse many rocky surfaces often crawling on his knees and belly. The coveralls withstood the treatment and cleaned up like new.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dickies coveralls, July 18, 2010

My son is 6' 2" and likes to where coveralls when he works on his car. We have always had problems finding clothes that fit his tall frame. These coveralls are exactly as described and pictured and are perfect fit. The material is of good quality and I believe they will be long lasting. I would definitely purchase another Dickies product again.

The fabric is made of a high quality and durable material that is ideal for protecting you and your clothes in really dirty and dusty areas. It has plenty of pockets for holding your tools and even has through-holes for accessing your pants pockets without removing the coverall.

I finally got around to buying a pair of these... plenty of my shirts and pants got wrecked from chemicals and oil stains. They were available at local stores near me but were much more expensive. As mentioned, order one size up. I usually take a medium tall, but I got a large tall and it fit good (I'm 6' 2" 168lbs). There's enough room for me to wear normal clothes underneath. The only thing I don't like is the pants access slots that let you get in the pockets underneath. It's a good idea, but they're wide open with no way to seal them and dirt gets in. They're also right next to the coveralls pockets and I mistakingly reach into them occasionally with dirty hands getting on my pants. I'll probably sew some Velcro on and it'll be perfect.

Anyone that works on their cars or does any kind of work in their attic, etc, definitely needs one of these.
