Bought this wallet a few weeks ago and so far have been very impressed, the leather is thick and very good quality. the chain is a good length not so long it gets caught on things long enough to set on a table if you need to. There is plety of space for credit cards and other cards.

Everything is well made on this wallet. I modified mine slightly to remove the 1" keyring that attaches the chain to the wallet's grommet. I noticed that the keyring was starting to stress the grommet and surrounding leather and I was worried it might start to tear. I removed the keyring and used pliers to open up the last link on the chain and then crimped that last link through the grommet.

For the price, you can't complain too much, so it got 5 stars anyway. There are two things that do need improved, though. First, it needs to be a tiny bit larger, maybe a half-inch each way when closed and snapped shut, to make sliding cards in and out a little easier, as well as to give space for another card slot or two. Second, the snaps are great, but the upper snap needs moved down slightly, because it effectively blocks one of the card slots. However, for the price, these things don't cost it a star.

I bought this wallet almost two years ago and I carry it every single day. From work to home and even when I go out. The leather has not worn out and still looks brand new. No threads came loose and everything is intact unlike every other wallet I've bought in my life. Even the chain never rusted.

I'm a tattoo artist so I get paid in cash and this wallet will easily hold, fold, and close all my cash. They only reason why I did not give it five stars is because the design is flawed. On the left side of the wallet there is no room to fit your cards so you have to keep them all on the tabs on the right side.

This is hands down the best wallet I have ever owned and I definitely recommend it if your looking to replace a old wallet or simply just want a new one that will last long and still look badass.

Believe it or not, this wallet is a replacement for a Guess? wallet I've had for about ten years (kind of doing a 180 there, right?). My old wallet was actually still in decent shape after all that time and despite being regular bi-fold pocket size (same overall size as this wallet) was positively massive inside. It had space for something like 18 cards, plus two large pockets for money and I guess checks. And I used them all! (I used the second large pocket for just random papers and receipts, plus business cards.)

So I figured this wallet, being a tri-fold design, would have at least as many usable pockets. But no! It actually has far fewer. It has three pockets per side, plus one "hidden" underneath on each side, then one photo ID pocket in the middle (plus another underneath). And obviously a money pocket. But the real problem is that one of the snaps fouls two of the pockets on that side - you can't really use them at all, and it's difficult to use the third. So really, this wallet has eight total pockets (including dedicated ID pocket) plus the money pocket. That's a lot less storage than it sounds like, if you have any sort of financial life.

A couple of my pockets are stitched too small to hold standard cards, too - meaning I'm really down to six usable pockets. I'm hoping I can open the other two up as the wallet breaks in.

Also, while the wallet does look really cool - better than the picture, IMO - the metal Dickies logo is actually not just attached to the outside of the wallet but actually held in place by a much larger than necessary inner plate sandwiched between the inner and outer layers of leather. This just creates kind of an odd square shape that's often visible on the outside of the wallet, and also sometimes makes sitting down uncomfortable. I have to think that it'll become more visible and odd looking as the wallet ages, and may eventually even rip the leather.

Bought this for my son, who is 38, but has to have a chain-wallet. The only negative, I could see, was that the chain was a not heavy-duty. The wallet itself is very good!

Bought this after previously having another Dickie's tri-fold leather wallet. Like other reviews I will have to agree pockets for cards are tight, plastic cards will work but business cards are to weak to slide in easily. Also the snaps that hold it together block two of the card pockets, so if you only carry four cards your fine. Least for the main sleeves not any of the hidden ones. Not sure the appeal of being able to snap your wallet closed, I really never had a problem without them personally. Besides those two features so far okay wallet, have to wait and see how it hold out. My other wallet had the chain ring holes torn out through wear and tear so time will tell for this one. Honestly though I can't imagine how the issue with the snaps wasn't caught.

When I bought this wallet, I absolutely love it. Its quality is at its finest and I had a history of chain ripping off my wallets and this one had a protective ring around the chain so it won't break that easily.

My only complain thought is where you put your credit cards. You can't fit most of them in its location since it'll get the buttons in the way if you want to lock and secure your wallet. But overall, if you don't mind closing your wallet all the way, you have nothing to worry about then.

I bought this wallet to replace the chain wallet I have been for the past 17 years. The leather around the grommet finally started to fail on that wallet, but other than that it's still holding up.

I have no doubt that this wallet will not last nearly as long. The "leather" feels cheap. It's very thin, and I'm not sure that I believe that it's even leather. The chain is too short and very lightweight compared to me old wallet, but that's okay because I just reused that chain and clip.

This wallet does have a large array of pockets, however they are all barely big enough to fit standard sized cards. If you livei n a state like I do where you have to carry a card to exercise your constitutional rights, and said card needs to be laminated because the state prints it on flimsy paper then good luck getting that to fit. I managed to cram all my cards in, but it was a lot easier to fit them into the 3 pockets on my old wallet vs the gazillion pockets on this one. Hopefully this one will stretch out. I do like that the interior is cloth. It's a bit less bulky than leather, but since they added so many pockets it's overall just as bulky as my old wallet.

Oh, and as mentioned in other reviews, several of the pockets are useless as the snaps interfere with them.

Anyway, it works as a wallet, as long as you don't carry a lot of membership/credit/other cards, and so long as you're not looking for the last wallet you will ever buy. I'm going to wear it around for a few months and see how I feel after that.

One final thought - I'm a lefty, and I'd love to see a wallet that doesn't leave holes in my back pocket where the snaps are when I carry it in my left pocket. All of my pants have holes from the buttons on my old wallet. This one has smaller buttons that will probably fail before they leave holes in my pocket, but the metal Dickies logo will probably start to wear holes in my pockets now.

This wallet is doing the job we needed it for. It has lost one of it's decorative studs - don't really care, but some people would. We needed a wallet with a chain and it works well for that.
