So I ordered these pants as part of a Halloween costume, so they didn't need to be perfect...

I first read the reviews and based on them, ordered a size up. Some of the reviewers weren't kidding...I ended up having to return the size up ones and ordered ANOTHER size up. When I got the second pair in the mail, they arrived UN-HEMMED which was really frustrating.

Aside from this, I would not recommend these pants for the younger crowd to wear on a daily basis. The rise is really high (around my belly button) and they aren't what I would call "figure flattering."

Based on other reviews I ordered a size larger than I usually wear. I got the Khaki, Blue, and Black Dickies pants. I normally wear a 14 long so I ordered a 16 long. The Khaki were a little to loose, the black and blue fit perfect. I don't know why the difference, but I like the fit of the pants and tall women I highly recommend them. They are long enough!

The pants aren't horrible, but they run SMALL. I ordered a size up, as I tend to prefer my pants a bit on the baggier side. They just fit, and I wish I had ordered a tall. That being said, when you negate the fact that the waist is high enough to practically double as a bustier, they do nice things for my butt. Would I order another pair? No. Will I get my money's worth out of the pair I now own? I can only hope.

Apparently missed the head snap here. When the pants arrived i found they would need to be hemmed.

I usually wear an 18, and bought a pair at a store here in town, it was the biggest they had so I decided to buy a 20 online. Well, those are way too tight as well. I seriously think I might have to order a 24... though the length I like. The 18's I had bought were a tall and were too long, the regular length here is perfect (and I have a 32" inseam so for the average woman it might be a little long).

so I returned it and ordered a 10 - again too small? I NEED A 12?

Due to the enviornment that I would, I have to wear my pants looser so I went up a size and they work great. The only complaint I have is that they go up higher on my waist than I am used to and the zipper doesn't stay all the way up (falls about 1 inch). Other than that, great pocket depth and are comfortable.

I loved everything about my order! If you like Dickies brand clothing, these pants are everything you love! The fit, the style, the slight stretch. My shipment arrived promptly and hassle free. I would order again, and have recommended amazon.com and these pants to friends.

I purchased these shorts for use on my vacation to Puerto Rico. I work in the construction industry so I am familiar with the Dickies brand. Dickies tend to run slightly smaller than their competitors so I order one size larger. They were right length and they were nice and snug around the waist. The flat front is ideal for covering the pouch that I have acquired over the years. Overall, a good purchase.

Dickies women's flat front twill pants are for wider waists. If you have a waist measurement that is close to your hip measurement, then these slacks might be perfect for you. When ordering your size, believe the reviews; I normally wear an 8 or 10 but ordered a 12, and they are just right (not too tight or loose, except the waist is too loose). The fabric is rather thin, and the khaki color is slanted more to an olive green hue than a light brown tan. On the upside, they seem to be living up to the hype about being wrinkle resistant, but I haven't spilled anything on them yet, so I can't speak to the "stain release" claim. I was disappointed overall and won't being buying a second pair.
