This dictionary is the most accurate and comprehensive
book on religious and mythical symbolism written. I have
searched unsuccessfully for any volumes that could be
compared to it. Each definition is followed by several
quotes from authorities on the subject from countless
religious views. This book is a priceless reference for anyone interested in the study of comparative religions. It is also great fun to apply the definitions to poetry, nursery rhymes, and even your dreams. It is a must for the library of those with a questioning mind (which includes most of us!) |
