Book Description

An Indispensable Tool for the Understanding of the Hidden Meaning of Scriptures

For more than 2000 years, over 3300 Hebrew and/or Ancient Greek words in the Bible remained not translated. By providing the translation and often the symbolic meaning of the "missing" words, the author gives us the opportunity to finally understand the real meaning of the teaching of Moses, the Prophets, Jesus and the Evangelists. The Method of Application shows us how.

Some 5 STAR reviews of the Dictionary transcribed from Smashwords:

I never read the bible back-to-back but, as of today, I strongly suspect, I’m going to do it: one chapter at-a-time. After only the first 50 pages of the Dictionary of Biblical Symbolism, I already know that this book is an absolute eye-opener. You won’t believe it till you try it! (Marvin D. Clark, Montreal, CA)

3300 words not translated? It seems someone wanted to keep us in the dark! It must have taken the author years to produce this document. I never suspected the Bible holds so many secrets: Pearls before swine...?

For most of us who never made the effort to do the research ourselves, you saved years of work. Using your Dictionary of Biblical Symbolism (I've just begun) is like unraveling a story, full of suspense and mystery. Fascinating! (Hanna RC, Canada)

Even the first 30% make it abundantly clear that this is not an easy book to peruse. Apparently the more effort you put into the Application, the more you benefit. I’m going to do one chapter per week and, who knows, perhaps, one day, this book, the Dictionary, will set me free.

Until today, I’ve been an avid reader of Mr. K’s fiction. Now, I’m a convert. I suspect his non-fiction will be packed with equal depth of metaphysical suspense. Imagine my surprise when I’ve learned that the author developed his philosophy in a number of books, before he started writing fiction. Wish more writers would do that! Thanks again, Mr. Kapuscinski and… Mr. Stan I.S. Law! (Adam Kerry, Canada)

About the Author

Stanislaw Kapuscinski, (aka Stan I.S. Law) an architect, sculptor and prolific writer, was educated in Poland and England. A refugee from Poland at 13, then at 33, having overcome numerous difficulties, he began his search for the secret of life. Now, he is a successful writer, happily married for 25 years, with an assured future. His special interests cover a broad spectrum of arts, sciences and philosophy. At times he seeks inspiration in the Peruvian Andes, or solitude under sail. His books (articles, short stories, poetry) attest to his particular passion for the scope and the development of Human Potential. He authored more than twenty-five books, forteen of them novels. His non-fiction explores Ancient Myths, Biblical Symbolism, Immortality and the mystery of Visualization. Three volumes of Essays (Beyond Religion) investigate the Nature of Being. Generally, if you suspect you are more than flesh and bones, read Stan Law. If you want to be sure, read Stanislaw Kapuscinski.

5.0 out of 5 stars Discover the untold story December 19, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
Discover the story behind the story! Over 3300 words not translated? This Dictionary of Biblical Symbolism unlocks many of the hidden truths in the bible. It's amazing to me what religious leaders are willing to sacrifice in their self-serving attempts to control the masses.

This book must have been years in the making. Thank you Mr. Kapuscinski for doing this legwork for us. And thank you for opening the door for us to discover the deeper "real" truth.

5.0 out of 5 stars Huge Eye Opener May 7, 2014
By Darrin
Format:Kindle Edition
As the husband to a preacher's daughter, there have been many conversations related to theological meaning and interpretation. Before reading this book, there were multiple teachings that we could not agree upon the translation into the real meanings and underlying concepts. After both of us read this book, and realized how much had been lost in literal translation, there was new light shone onto these teachings. Many of which we were both way off on the meanings. I think this book is a huge light on a previously vague (and outdated by some persons thinking) book, the Bible. This book helps the true meanings of teachings shine through, which also helps relate it to modern society. All around great book, and a must read in my opinion if you truly want to study theological meanings and teachings.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant for seeing deeper March 9, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
I've read the Bible several times (though not front to back) and I am an enthusiast of the Old Testament as history. Now there is a way to read and understand the OT as teaching. I am so grateful for Stanislaw's dictionary and his depth of understanding, especially in the extremely helpful examples he gives of understanding otherwise seemingly dry OT passages.

I am using this largely as a reference work as I study the mindset of the author/s of Isaiah for my third novel set at the time of Hezekiah, and I'll keep using it for my own personal enrichment. This deserves wide recognition not only among the followers of religion but also anyone seeking inspiration and understanding.

Excellent.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Wonderful Resource May 10, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Not only are the metaphysical definitions in this book valuable and insightful, but the author's extensive front material is an education in itself. I tried out his interpretation method and was astounded at what I got. If one puts in the work required to extract the Bible's hidden meaning, this book becomes an essential reference and key for bringing out what would otherwise remain hidden. Highly recommended.

In the Kindle version, navigation takes a little getting used to, but it definitely works.

5.0 out of 5 stars So intriguing! April 12, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
I'm back with another one of Mr Kapuscinski's books. After reading his analysis of the Gospel of Thomas, I was curious to see what else he's written, and I'm happy to report that this title was equally interesting, though very different from the first book I read. This was more scientific in approach - analysing the linguistic background of certain Bible books, finding new meanings for old words that have always been translated a particular way because some people hundreds of years ago said they had to be interpreted just one way (which is basically impossible in Old Hebrew because it was written in defective script - all consonants, no vowels), and debunking some myths along the way. I'm a sucker for anything language or religion-related, so this work was right up my alley. If you are at all interested in finding out what the original text of the Bible says or might have said, or just interested in Classical Hebrew, I highly recommend this book. Throughout, the author doesn't try to force his opinion on the reader - he always stresses the importance of finding things out for yourself and going your own way.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Invaluable Resource April 2, 2014
By Beth
Format:Kindle Edition
I picked this up along with several other of the author's books during a special promotion and I'm so glad I added it to my collection. It has proved immensely beneficial to me while I've been reading the texts. I had no idea that there were so many hidden layers to the material!

The introduction provided a wonderful glimpse into the thoughts of the people who hid the Gnostic Gospels and the motivations behind their actions. It was also nice to revisit the rediscovery of the gospels in the modern day although it was painful to be reminded that some of the precious pages had been burned, but thankfully the majority survived.

This invaluable resource provides not only the definitions but detailed examples of how to apply the definitions to the text so you can receive the full benefit of the translations.

I highly recommend this well researched dictionary. Its insights provide the reader with a whole new view of the texts and their meanings.
