5.0 out of 5 stars IT Project Manager can now understand his team, October 30, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Dictionary of Networking (Paperback)
As a Project Manager for a Fortune 10 corporation, I first used this book to help unravel all the three letter acronyms and technical terms that some of my team were using (so I would not have to ask what they meant and look like an idiot). I have yet to find a network-related term (or even a distantly network-related term) which is not covered clearly and concisely in this book. This book covers over 3000 terms used in networks, operating systems, security, architecture, and even slang terms and significant numbers. I find this book much more useful than a rack of text books and can highly recommend this book to anyone who needs to understand the terms used in a complex corporate computing environment.
