From the Publisher
"This reference is valuable to scholars at all levels of nursing and is especially useful to researchers. Explanatory notes to guide the reader increase ease of use. The terms on philosophy and theory integrate qualitative and quantitative approaches to inquiry by covering the use terms by various authors. The range of terms is extensive and the value of many entries is enhanced by comments that place the term in historical context. Yet, the entries are succinct and clearly written. With this volume at hand consumers of research and theory will learn more easily and quickly."
