Tom Chetwynd's volume is a great reference , for traditional and less traditional symbolic meanings of archetypal images , objects , places etc. Very handy and direct , simple to read. I t will give you a good start if you are a student ,an artist, or a lay person looking for a deeper meaning behind the image.

I've been searching for this book for a while now... I'm so happy to have found it at last!!... well worth the money for the meaning of symbols with regards to dreams.
