Product Description

Mitch A. Schultz writes both as a pastor and as someone who knows the pain of losing a child to death. "Did I Say the Right Thing?" is a helpful guide for knowing what to say and how to minister effectively to someone who is grieving. 5.0 out of 5 stars helpful advice, July 31, 2011

This review is from: Did I Say The Right Thing: Responding Well To Those Who Grieve (Help Wanted!) (Kindle Edition)
I found the advice in this book about how to respond to those who grieve to be helpful and clear. What to say, what not to say--we all wonder about this. I especially appreciated the advice to bring up the person who has died in "Crush the Eggshells" and the chapter on "Don't Tell Me About the Silver Lining." The advice is couched in Christian terms but is applicable to people of any faith. It would also be helpful to those working or volunteering with severely wounded warriors and their families.
