helpful advice,
By Mrs. Susan Kristol (McLean, VA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Did I Say The Right Thing: Responding Well To Those Who Grieve (Help Wanted!) (Kindle Edition)
I found the advice in this book about how to respond to those who grieve to be helpful and clear. What to say, what not to say--we all wonder about this. I especially appreciated the advice to bring up the person who has died in "Crush the Eggshells" and the chapter on "Don't Tell Me About the Silver Lining." The advice is couched in Christian terms but is applicable to people of any faith. It would also be helpful to those working or volunteering with severely wounded warriors and their families.
