I read this book to my children (ages 2 and 4) every night. It makes them feel safe and loved, which is exactly why I bought it. My husband is currently deployed in the military, and I have been assembling a library of books that reinforce the messages that Mom loves you, and there are many ways she shows it. I think this book is fantastic, and it has made bedtime wonderful!

This is a wonderful book. Love is an action word and this book breaks down loving your child into daily tasks and responsibilities in a way that makes it seem more like fun than a chore!! It is great for first time parents to identify all the ways that they can and should show their love for a child. Many people "say" that someone loves them but they can't tell you how. I think if children learn to identify meaningful ways that people show their care and concern for you, it will help them recognize when they are in relationships that are not good for them (friendships and intimate relationships)

This book is wonderful because it shows that by making our children clean their room, eat, go to school, read them books, that we are showing them that we love them. It's my personal favorite book to read to my almost 4 yr old.

Great for teaching children expressions of love. We show love sometimes in so many different ways, sometimes kids need to learn them all. Good childrens book.
