I bought these unifix cubes because my son is in Kindergarten this year and thought they'd be a great manipulative. They are really wonderful! You can teach counting sorting sequencing and patterns colors, it's endless. My 2 1/2 yr old loves em too! I would buy more than one pack!

Great education tool. Force required is good for a 2 to 4 year old. We originally got cheaper, no name cubes and were not happy because they were too difficult to stick together or separate for the children. These UNIFIX cubes are much better. We have used them for 1 school year and they seem durable.

My sister in law bought these cubes for her son and my son can't wait to go to her house to play with them any time he can! He LOVES them! He puts them together and then takes them apart and then picks different color combinations and then puts them together again! They are great for fine motor coordination as well as educational. They are great quality and come with a nice case to keep them in.

This has helped my five year old granddaughter with patterns and her math skills. I know that they used these in my son's kindergarten classroom.

I bought these Unifix cubes to use as a math manipulative for my 4-yr. old homeschooler. Little did I know that she would build structures when not in use for teaching! She truly enjoys making creations and at the same time the cubes are a great teaching tool for math. Though the cubes came with a guide (very thin/not lengthy)I ordered the paperback, Developing Mathematics with Unifix, by Paul Swan, as an extra guide. Kaplan sent the cubes in time and the product arrived in good condition.

I bought these when my boys were 3 and 4 because i read that they helped a young childs mind to grasp math concepts. We would count, add and subtract, play little math games, and when I would walk away they came up with their own creative ways to play with them. My oldest is going to college for Engineering next fall, they both have amazing math minds. I believe these unifix cubes played a part in their understanding math the way they do.
I just bought a set for my 4 yr old daughter, she hasn't been as interested in counting and numbers as my boys were so i wasn't sure how these would go over. They came in yesterday, Well she loves them! First she took them out and started making patterns, unprompted, and later we played store and took turns buying and checking out the cubes in sets of 10 according to color. After she had played with them by herself for a while, I asked her how many blue ones there were (there are 10 of each color), and she said "10,they all have 10". I was excited to see she figured that out by herself just from playing with them. I recommend them for 3 yrs through the first few years of school while learning, addition, subtraction, multiplication and place value, wonderful to have nearby while helping with math homework.

As a teacher, I purchased unifix cubes to add to my math centers. They are a great educational tool! Students use them to count, add, subtract, multiply and divide. I also use them to teach place value and area. The students love playing and learning with these materials. They are easy to store and they are very easy to clean. These cubes are one of the best tools to teach math concepts.

We use Unifix Cubes for everything math-related: counting, patterns, addition and subtraction facts, place value, counting by 2, 5, 10. We even used them to learn colors. They are also a great way to visualize decades and a century. They could work for graphing, etc.I am sure as more math and other topics come up, we'll find more uses for them. We had these cubes since the beginning of the year and so far they are very durable. A truly great find! There is a little booklet that comes with the cubes that shows different ways to use them. Definitely money well spent.

I purchased the unifix blocks for my kids to practice patterns, addition, and subtraction at home. The blocks are a great tool and highly recommend them.
