(almost) best of the rest, February 19, 2001

After doing some workshops and having a lot of contact with Mark, i can say that, (together with 'Ankala, rhythms from the outher core') this is the best album from him for sure. Unfortunately he experimentated a lot with 'stuff' and it harmed his playing a lot. I wonder if he will ever reach the top again. So if you think about buying a Mark Atkins album, this would be the best buy, but check out Ankala also.
