I found this to be a totally brilliant CD. If you're the sort of fan who wants the same old 70's stuff - forget it. This is a new raunchier David and personally, I can't get enough of it. Don't get me wrong, I loved the original stuff. Heck, I've been a fan since he first boarded the bus, but we've all got to move on and he's definitely going in the right direction.

I have all of David Cassidy's albums from the 90s, and this one is my favorite. Sparsely produced, but beautiful in its execution. I recommend it to all David Cassidy fans.

Recorded in 1992, this CD is my favorite from the post RCA years. It comes close to the feel and mood of the "Dreams" LP (Sorry - it's such a point of Reference for me). I liked this CD from start to finish and the personal thoughts and insights perhaps reflected in the music. ("Like Father - Like Son"). A nice smooth rock feel (less disco - techno pop sounding than some others including his newest "Old Trick" - See Review). I will always prefer more Tony Romeo type love songs, but this CD satisfied that desire including the duet with Treana Morris on "I'll Never Stop Loving You". Sweet. Another high point is The First AME Church choir featured on "One True Love". (I'll admit, I was hoping for the Randy Stonehill tune of the same name here !) Side Note: For some reason, the inside picture of David reminds me so much of John Lennon ! Just me? Dan [e-mail]
