Peter Alexander has done it again, and I do not use those words lightly. His masterful voice makes short work of the difficult pieces, elevating classics like "Der Badewannentango" and "Tschip Tschip Tschi" to heights never acheived prior to this recording. Unfortunately, this album must receive a rating of 3 stars because I found Herr Alexander's rendition of "Tch Zahle Taglich Meine" to be profoundly disappointing. This piece deserves to be sung in the old traditional manner, and the modern rendition provided here will be a disappointment to anyone who has walked home at night whistling ""Tch Zahle Taglich Meine" for company.
